Up for sale is a classic, a Selmer Super/Radio Improved tenor saxophone. The serial is 17xxx, putting the date of manufacturing around 1932/33. This horn has seen its share of action, showing typical wear and tear for an instrument of its age that was well-played and cared-for. It was difficult to determine since the horn doesn't have engraving, but the finish appears to have been relacquered at some point in its long history. The neck is original, and has never suffered any serious damage or a pull-down. The Selmer "Super" tenors have a distinct following, and with good reason. The tone is very lively and full, much like a Conn with a bit more focus to the sound. It is extremely flexible with a multitude of set-ups and styles. The pads are on the older-side, but still seal very well, the price reflects this. The pads are standard leather with domed metal rivet resonators. The tenor ships in a Selmer rectangular case, shipping will be determined upon sale. Thanks for looking!

Up for sale is a beautifully preserved example of a Selmer Mark VI soprano saxophone! The serial number is 152xxx, putting the date of manufacturing around 1968. The original lacquer is in very good shape, only showing a few signs of lacquer bleed around the right and left hand thumb rests. Other than those spots the lacquer is 95%+ present. The previous owner had the soprano overhauled with leather pads with seamless domed resonators that have seen very-little play time. Also, Oleg risers were added to the palm keys, adding to the ergonomics of the horn greatly. The sound of this horn is huge and round, with plenty of power and flexibility, something that VI sopranos are known for. The tuning is very stable, which isn't always the case with soprano saxes. The horn ships in the original Selmer case, cost to be determined upon sale. Thanks for looking!

You're looking at an all-original Martin "Music Man" Committee 3 tenor saxophone. The serial number is 214xxx, putting the manufacturing date between 1962/63. The original lacquer is about 85% present and shows very nice patina. The pads appear to be original, and I'm offering this tenor as-is. Everything is moving freely, and the tenor plays fairly well on old pads. If you wish to get the pads replaced, we can figure out a deal that includes a repad with full cleaning, replacement of all cork/felt, key fitting(where necessary) and tone hole leveling. The matching serial number can be found on the neck, which shows no evidence of a previous pull-down. This is a very solid instrument that is fairly rare with the engravings, "Official Musicman Model" and "RMC" shield. The tenor ships in a standard rectangular case. Shipping will be determined upon sale, thanks for looking!
Up for sale is a very nice Selmer Series 3 tenor saxophone. The serial number is 652xxx, putting the manufacturing date around 2004. The horn has about 90+% of its original lacquer remaining. From the pictures, you can see the horn was well-loved and played often. There are some scratches, past dent repairs on the body and bell flare, but nothing serious. The neck shows no sign of a previous pull-down. The horn just went through an extensive service at my shop, including a full disassembly/chemical cleaning, replacing any worn out pads/corks, and play conditioning. The horn screams and would be an excellent choice for a jazz or classical musician looking for that unparalleled Selmer quality and sound. The hand position and intonation are very good on this tenor. The tone is very versatile and can be molded to pretty much any setup you're currently using. A Protec Max case is included. Shipping will be determined upon sale, thanks for looking!
